I said I'd get some drawings done while I was away, and I failed. So now that I'm back, I decided I might as well get this colored, to compensate for my lack of productivity during my Thanksgiving break.
Anyway, it's Elliot's desk again, but this time it's colored! I should note that this drawing is actually well over a year old, so I improved since I drew the lineart. Again, Elliot's peace medallion is not meant to symbolize anything or raise any conflicting ideas, it's just his favorite accessory! His sawed-off shotgun was more or less inspired from the one used by James Earl Cash in the videogame Manhunt. I should also note that the Makarov handgun was intended to be a PM, but it wasn't until after I submitted the lineart that the magazine was actually a double-stack magazine used for a PMM.... But it's not like most of you can tell the difference anyway.
I spent at least 3 hours coloring this, and I'm pleased with how this turned out. Although I would like to learn how to make the colors more realistic and "jump out," so to speak. Unfortunately, I didn't have a box of Remington shotshells handy, so I had to color the ammo box from memory, and of course with the help of a Google image search. That chain was a real pain! (no rhyme intended!)

just nitpicking the magazine dosen't seem to fit the Makarov (beacuse it looks like a double stack mag and (according to my intel) it uses single stack mags
